Sajid Syed is the Chairman of Adab Health and Princeton Stone House Capital. A serial healthcare entrepreneur, he has built a distinguished career around launching, scaling, and successfully exiting pharmaceutical services companies at the intersection of technology, managed care, and specialty pharmacy.

In 1996, after earning his graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing from St. John's University in New York, Mr. Syed founded InfuRx, a specialty pharmacy in Delaware focused on Medicaid Managed Care. He replicated the model with a second branch in Memphis, TN, attracting the attention of larger national organizations. In 2001, he sold InfuRx to Priority Healthcare Corporation (Nasdaq: PHCC), the largest national specialty pharmacy provider at the time.

Mr. Syed joined Priority as Vice President, Managed Markets, where he recognized the need to reposition specialty pharmacy from a pure provider model to one aligned with the goals of payors. Priority was subsequently acquired by Express Scripts (Nasdaq: ESRX) in 2005, after which he departed to pursue his next venture.

That same year, Mr. Syed founded Sanovia Corporation, a technology company automating prior authorization processes for high-cost drugs managed by health plans and PBMs. After closing a venture capital round and installing professional management, he stepped down as CEO in 2007 while remaining Chairman of the Board. Sanovia was sold to Health Information Design LLC in 2012.

Also in 2007, Mr. Syed founded Acro Pharmaceutical Services, a boutique specialty pharmacy delivering next-generation management solutions to payer and pharmaceutical manufacturer clients. He sold Acro to Lincare in February 2011 and continued as President through March 2014, subsequently serving on the board of Lincare Holdings — a subsidiary of Linde Group AG (LIN: XETRA) — until August 2014. In June 2019, Acro was acquired by CVS Health Corporation.

Mr. Syed served as the Chairman of Apovia, a pharmacy management group headquartered in Philadelphia that managed and operated 340B pharmacies across three states on behalf of Federally Qualified Health Centers and other covered entities, serving over 100,000 patients.

At Adab Health, Mr. Syed brings his deep expertise in Medicaid managed care, specialty pharmacy, and healthcare technology to help build a values-driven, peer-led model for addiction recovery and behavioral health — one that is both clinically rigorous and financially sustainable.

Mr. Syed is actively involved in community service and serves on numerous nonprofit boards.

Haroon brings a rare combination of scholarly depth and real-world execution to AdaB Health's mission. An award-winning author of four books and a researcher in data-driven decision-making, he has spent his career at the intersection of technology, behavioral change, and organizational performance. He has closed over $700 million in private sector deals, including six platform investments, and has published extensively on how organizations harness emerging technologies to reach and serve new audiences. At AdaB Health, Haroon leads operations with a focus on building scalable, human-centered systems that translate clinical innovation into measurable impact. He holds an MPA from Harvard University and a PhD.

Rebecca Shanahan brings three decades of enterprise leadership across specialty pharmacy, digital health, payer strategy, patient access, and integrated delivery systems. Her career spans the full complexity of healthcare services — from PBM and pharmaceutical strategy to compounding, infusion, 340B programs, and ambulatory care expansion — giving her a rare ability to see the patient services journey from every angle.

For AdaB Health, Rebecca's expertise is directly relevant: she has built and scaled businesses at the intersection of behavioral access, payer complexity, and regulatory scrutiny — exactly the terrain AdaB operates in. Her experience navigating inflection points that require strategic change, transaction readiness, and infrastructure expansion brings critical guidance as AdaB scales its 360° care model and deepens its payer and health system partnerships.

Ms. Shanahan currently advises investors and independently owned companies in the healthcare services sector and serves as an investor in and board member of high-growth startups, including TruData Rx and HATCH. She serves as an Operating Advisor to Blue Sea Capital and Aynsley Investments.

Ronald Heigler served for many years as CEO and Executive Director of Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. (GPHA), one of the Philadelphia region's largest federally qualified health center networks, delivering comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to more than 85,000 patients regardless of their ability to pay. Under his leadership, GPHA expanded its footprint across underserved communities, launched school-based health suites, and opened an innovative medical suite in partnership with Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry. His career reflects a deep commitment to health equity and accessible, whole-person care for vulnerable populations.
